The action research group Ireland emerged from the need to support practitioners, students and academics in the fields of action research, action learning and action inquiry. The group came together on a voluntary basis across different disciplines ranging from Business, Nursing and Education. In arriving at directions for best practice ARGI is drawing on international research and developments in the field action research and action learning and is developing international collaborations with leading researchers in the field. AGRI is a primary resource for working with people in broad areas such as health, medicine, nursing, education, social care, law and prison services, community pharmacy practices and midwifery. ARGI consists of a collaborative team from the University of Dublin, Trinity College, the Waterford Institute of Technology, Dublin Institute of Technology, University of Liverpool and UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems.
